Lizzy Marye

Originally from the rain state of Oregon, I moved to the four season state of Idaho where here I was first given a little pink camera and since then I’ve done nothing but snap pictures of everyone and everything.

The art of photography runs in my family so being able to learn from those around me but also take off and do my own thing has led me here, taking photos of all the sports that happen in the Pacific Northwest to expanding towards individual photography.

Who knew giving me a camera at four years old would land me here.

Other than the multitude of photography classes I’ve ventured out and taken through the North Idaho College during my free time in middle school, high school was the real start of my career. Beginning of my sophomore year I got involved in Lake City High School’s yearbook and through there I got involved with taking sports photos, then through that I got roped into managing for the Lake City Timberwolf wrestling team and from there I truly started to love photography. Since then I’ve been able to expand my work to specializing in lacrosse photos, including dabbling in the sport of football. While sport photos, specifically lacrosse, are my favourites to go and shoot I absolutely adore being able to work with people face to face and get their true selves documented to keep forever. Being able to form a friendship with those I work with in mini, senior, or family shoots is my favourite part of this profession, because once you’re able to form that friendship it becomes amazing to see their personality shine through their photos and how happy they become when they see the final results.
